SOLUTION PROVIDERS DATABASE
There are many environmental challenges for which innovative solutions have already been developed & may be even commercialized by someone in other part of the country or other part of the globe, but the Industry isn’t aware about it. This ‘lack of awareness & lack of connect’ is one of the key barriers to implementation of Green & Sustainable Chemistry.
We believe bridging this gap between Chemical Industry looking for solutions for their various environmental challenges (Solution Seekers) & companies offering innovative solutions in the domain of environment (Solution Providers) has the potential to accelerate the implementation of Green & Sustainable Chemistry based technologies & practices.
Since last 5 years, Green ChemisTree Foundation team has been working to consolidate organizations (private companies, start-ups, research & academic institutes, etc) offering Green & Sustainable Chemistry solutions and presenting the same in a structured format, through an online platform, such that it is accessible at one place, is easy to search, interactive, builds-on-its-own & facilitates connecting Industry with solution providers across the globe.
This “Green & Sustainable Chemistry Solution Provider’s Database” is a global database, which includes organizations offering both – solutions for “pollution prevention” as well as “end-of-the-pipe” solutions. This database would offer its services in following ways –
- (a). Solution Seekers: If you are from the Chemical Industry looking for solutions to your environmental challenges, you are a “Solution Seeker”. You could search for innovative solutions.
- (b). Solution Providers: If you are an individual/organization developing & offering solutions, you are a “Solution Provider”. Update your existing technologies & upload your new innovations.
We really appreciate support and contribution from our sponsors which makes it possible for us to sustain the ongoing cost associated with managing this online platform & make it freely available for all.
We take this opportunity to acknowledge United Nations Industrial Development Corporation (UNIDO) and The Centre for Green Chemistry & Green Engineering at Yale for sharing their database with us which contributed to expanding this database.
Our team is committed to continuously enhance the size, scope & quality of this database and user experience of this platform. We request participation and partnership from all stakeholders of chemical industry in this endeavor.
